MPs debate Russian influence on UK politics

On 9 February, members of the APPG for Fair Elections took part in a Westminster Hall e-petition debate on the Russian influence in British politics, in response to a parliamentary petition that gathered over 115,000 signatures. Members speaking included Ellie Chowns (Green Party), Ben Lake (Plaid Cymru), Susan Murray, Cameron Thomas, Manuela Perteghella, Jamie Stone, Claire Young (Liberal Democrats) and Alex Sobel, Joe Powell, Luke Myer, Tom Hayes, Neil Coyle, Phil Brickell, Anneliese Dodds (Labour). MPs called for tougher regulation and action to combat dark money and disinformation.
